Meet our Founders

Ross Melbourne

CEO and Co-Founder

Ross had a very successful exit from a SaaS HR software company he co-founded. He holds multiple patents and has 30 plus years experience building best in class software and building successful teams.

David Melbourne

Co-Founder

A serial entrepreneur and innovator, David has more than 40 years of experience in electrical engineering and firmware. He holds 10 patents in robotics, electronics, and the internet of things (known as IoT). He is also a licensed ham-radio operator and single-engine private pilot.

Our initial prototype introduced real-time kinematic positioning technology, achieving centimeter-level accuracy in outdoor navigation for the first time.

Named after our lead engineer's grandfather, Frankie featured improved obstacle detection and the first iteration of our autonomous mapping system.
